DOB Approved Course Equivalents

The NYC Department of Buildings has updated Local Law 196 to allow card issuers to now accept certain DOB approved courses in place of the required Site Safety Training (SST) Courses.  The following document lists which existing worker and license courses can give credit for SST courses. 

For example if you are attempting to acquire a Supervisor SST card and have already completed a 32 hour supported scaffold user course, you will no longer be required to take the 4 hour supported scaffold course which is a requirement for the supervisor SST card because the 32 hour supported scaffold user course is equivalent.
