Asbestos Management Planner Refresher – Able Safety
This Asbestos Management Planner Refresher Training Course accredits individuals to the Asbestos Hazard Emergency Response Act (AHERA). AHERA Dedicated Person is to assess on asbestos hazard and recommend appropriate response actions. The Asbestos Hazard Emergency Act is required Environmental Protection Agency to notify the regulations. The local educational agencies are to inspect their school buildings for asbestos containing building material, prepare asbestos management plans and perform asbestos response actions to prevent or reduce asbestos hazards under these regulations. AHERA also tasked EPA with developing a model plan for states for accrediting persons conducting asbestos inspection and corrective action activities at schools. The Toxic Substances Control Act defines asbestos as the asbesti-form varieties of: chrysotile (serpentine), crocidolite (riebeckite); amosite (cummingtonite/grunerite); anthophyllite; tremolite; and actinolite.
This 4 hour asbestos management planner refresher class is required for all certified asbestos management planners to update existing knowledge and refresh the students regarding the latest update in the asbestos industry. The Asbestos Management Planner Refresher also coordinates any activities of an asbestos operations and maintenance program. A 4 hour Asbestos Management Planner Refresher Training course that is required in conjunction with an Asbestos Inspector Course for licensure as an asbestos management planner. This training is for those responsible for facility migitation activities, including management of data associated with asbestos work, response action planning Students must have their Asbestos Inspector Certification, before taking the Asbestos Management Planner course.
